About this deal

You will come to a room that is full of water with a floating box in the middle of the room. Jump into the water and head to the top-left to find a ladder. Interact with the Cog and the water will drain. Bennett was such a full-rounded character. I loved her sass and her tenacity, which nicely balanced by her vulnerabilities. Both Priest and Ashley had their own brand of appeals and all three of them had amusing interactions.

I adore how the polyamorous relationship is presented and developed in this book. It is different from the reverse harems I've read, and I loved the complexity of the characters' feelings for each other. I have to admit that some parts of the relationships in this book are not healthy (intense jealousy and forgiving some abuse for example), but it did make sense with Bennett's character and personality and with the context. Hours later, he swoppz in only to slap her and exhaust her vagaina. He stops when she decides to turn off her brain. the moment where I realise he the funeral himself 🥴 But do not let that beautiful cover confuse you, it's a dark and twisted story... and even though I do not shy away from violent content, there were parts that the descriptions were too much to me, so I think it will not suit everyone... 💙 Godwin created a pirate world so authentic it made me tremble with fear, excitement and anticipation with every line. Pirate theme. I grew up reading Johanna Lindsey's pirate romances and I just don't find the recent books to be as enjoyable. You will feel like you are onboard the ship right next to them! This book captured my interest from the start. Bennett lost everything when she was 14 years old and both her parents died on the same day. Seven years later, she's a pirate, captain of her ship, and she is trying to flee from the authorities and her past. Priest, a dashing and possessive pirate has been on her trail for the last 2 years after she left him, and just as he finally finds her again, so do the authorities. Bennett would do anything for her loyal crew, so she surrenders herself to the commander of the navy to let them escape. She now finds herself at the mercy of Lord Ashley Cutler, a ruthless pirate hunter and commander of the Royal Navy. I was very aware throughout of how problematic the book is in multiple different ways (many of which should have personally rendered it a deal breaker) and I was often pretty uncomfortable, especially in the final third which is sort of just heroine-centric torture porn?

When we meet her again, seven years later, Benedicta Leighton has followed in her father’s footsteps and is now known as Bennett Sharp, fearless pirate captain of her own ship and of a faithful crew of scoundrels ready to follow her every command. The only living person who knows her past is her husband, Priest Farrell—notoriously known as the Feral Priest, king of libertines—a man who’s been hunting her for the past two years, ever since he broke her heart by bedding another. “It doesn’t matter how far we fall, how much pain we inflict, or how dark it becomes in the ruin. I’m going to be with you, waiting for you, loving you, forgiving you. I’m never letting go, Bennett. Never.” Despite that, it is without a doubt an unforgettable book - so special and original! It can easily be turned into a crazy TV series - I actually saw before my eyes the plot revived on screen!!! (Now seriously, who has HBO's phone number ?!) 💙💙💙 Overall, Sea of Ruin was one of the best books I’ve read this year and ever. Pam Godwin is so wonderfully talented and this book showcased exactly why she is one of my all-time favourite authors. Sea of Ruin was unlike anything I’ve read before and I was completely blown away by how amazing it was in all aspects. I am giving Sea of Ruin 10 stars and would recommend it to absolutely everyone who loves romance! No one- not man or woman- could look at him without stealing another look, and another, until those glimpses carved themselves into memory and established the benchmark by which all beauty was measured. After the fight, head through the cave and you'll find a Rainbow Conch and also an empty Treasure Chest.I've decided NOT to rate this book for the reasons that I'll specify in this review, so bear with me till the end. On the second level you first need to point the mirror to the top-left key tower. Then cross over and move the mirror to the right key-tower at the bottom of the platform. This will reveal a grapple post. We were meaningful together. Intricate. An unlikely bond formed in the dwelling place of souls. The moment felt unreal, like a dream between time and space, with no boundaries, no titles. We weren’t enemies in this sphere. We weren’t captor and captive or lord and pirate. There were so many instances where she gets beaten and bruised raped especially at the end where she nearly dies. Bennett runs from him,and 2 years later, runs into him again. But this time she is his captor, and she cannot forgive him.

She is perfectly crafted and will endure so much pain in her short life you'll feel grateful you're not a character written by Pam Godwin.Head to the top-left corner to find a Celestial Rune. When you stand on it, it will reveal several Sundials on the World Map. You can then change the time of day to use these Sundials to reveal the Sunken Docarri Ruin locations. Sunken Docarri Ruin #1 He was a protector, a provider, and an incomparable lover. The way he used his lips and moved his body had been and always would be one of my greatest weaknesses.”
