In this astrologically powerful year of 2012
Healing Field Gathering may well be a crucial gathering and sharing space.
The Healing Fileds Gathering is set in a beautiful Somerset meadow with a fine view of Glastonbury Tor.
This is the 11th Gathering and over the years we have evolved and created the "Healing Village" - an inspiring and caring community with beautiful gardens & mystical sculptures.
The dates Friday 20th - Monday 23rd July have been set so that we return to the dates we always used in July meaning we do not clash with similar gatherings in August.
NEW for 2012
To help Re-Vitalize our Dance Orientation there will be more Inner Improvised Dance. Our charismatic African Dance Teacher Rachel Derang returns with her team and we will also host Maia, a lovely young Arab Egyptian Dance Teacher from Glastonbury.
Last year saw the return of a more Dynamic Ceremony Group - we hope to carry on the revival of this ceremonial aspect which is very dear to many of us as it reverberates though the attending community.
Also new for this year we are doing a Sister Gathering - The Inner Fire Gathering on 22nd - 27th August 2012.
Activities are wide ranging at The Healing Fields Gathering Workshops are held in pretty carpeted domes & include:
* Healing Workshop Spaces from Reiki
to Sound Healing
* A Large Dance/ Music Dome with workshops in
African Dance/Drumming, Singing, Inner Dance,
Overtoning,
Creative Play and others
* A Yoga Space with many great teachers
-plus there is the return of Anjali 's 'Shakti Dance'
* A Chi Gung, Tai Chi & Meditation Space
* Devotional Heart Chanting - Bhakti
* Craft space for children and the young at heart with on-going workshops such as
lantern-making, drama,
wacky science, weaving, clay-modelling and dream-catchers etc. etc..
There are a selection of Skilled Healers
working for Donation from their own spaces.
We have activities geared for humans of all ages. Note that this is not a creche; younger children must be accompanied by their parents all children (12 - 16) are the responsibility of their parents at all times.
Community Forum
AGAIN we have a Forum Space to discuss and share on deep life issues and AGAIN mainly for evenings
- Videos and Speakers focusing on topical issues with stimulating discussions - with Chai. So this is a good opportunity to look at our social blindspots and fears - to find out what we really value - explore the
Secrets of our Society - Maybe even allow ourselves to be surprised.
Night Time at The Healing Fields Gathering
There is Singing, Music & Meeting People around the main Campfires.
Last year saw the return of Martin Wilks - who performed amazing singing around the campfire and he is keen to come again.
Plus an Acoustic Stage for Evening Workshops in Dance & Song.
The popular Cosmic Speed Dating Workshop is back again!
Also known as the Community Flirt In it is a great way to meet and get to know the opposite sex in a non pressurised environment!
The Healing Fields Gathering is ideally suited to meeting people.
It is an easy place for people to come alone
