As part of a series of cost-cutting initiatives by the BBC in 1980, Waggoners' Walk came to an abrupt end on 30 May 1980 [13] [14] with a cliffhanger ending in which George Underdown proposes marriage to Sophie Richmond and assures her that "you have all the time in the world" before the closing theme comes in. Photographs don’t do this property justice! Lovely atmosphere being on a farm with lambs outside our window in the morning. Lovely and relaxing in the hot tub with the views. Lovely little games shed and a little playground for the children. The cottage had everything that you would need, also the kitchen had all you would need to cook meals, the decor throughout was very good including fresh flowers. fresh milk, bread, biscuits were there for us as well as tea and coffee. Information on all the appliances was in the kitchen and plenty of information on places to visit and the owners were on hand if you needed them. Would definitely recommend this cottage, and would be glad to return again. It was a real home from home. And plenty of places to visit in the area. Hot-tub fantastic and although unfortunately we were not there long we had a fabulous time. Would definately book again. Beautiful. The cottage was beautiful inside and out, our week at waggoners cottage was excellent and the owners Andrew and Jan are the nicest and friendliest people you could wish to meet, we will certainly be returning , Perfect for couples and families alike, this cottage offers comfortable accommodation for up to five guests and ideally sits within close proximity of the area’s most wonderful attractions. Day after day I was transfixed with this view, I want to live here. The cottage is great and the master bed is very comfy. The hot tub is superb and has that view. The farm is lovely and is about a mile from the road, so it is very quiet. The owner is truly lovely and their farm dogs are a delight.
