The longevity is fair, with my primer it lasts close to 8hours and without my primer let’s say 4hours (y’all know I have really oily skin. The BLACK OPAL Cleansing Foundation offers a long-lasting, covering formula that blends with the skin to even out the complexion and correct imperfections discreetly. One good thing about these foundation sticks is that you can blend the colors either on a palette or on the back of your hand so you can actually mix TT and RC together as well for another variation. The twist-up portion in a sheath just like lipstick which protects the top of your foundation but also allows you to see the shade since the top is transparent.

There are plenty of better options for sun protection today, but it is considered "safe as used" (and sunscreens are pretty well regulated) and it is available worldwide (can be used up to 10% in the EU and up to 7. Even if it can be converted, the palmitate part of the molecule is more than the half of it, so the efficacy will not be good and we have never seen a serum that contains a decent (and proudly disclosed) amount of AP. The foundation stick has a Shade ID technology that adapts to your unique skin color for a perfect match!

If you haven’t exfoliated in a while, it can tend to look cakey sitting on top of all that dry skin. Now the only catch about the application of this foundation is that because it is quite thick you need a dense foundation brush to be able to buff it out properly. If you haven’t found another foundation in their brand to match you, I’m not sure how a foundation color swatch would help you. It's definitely one of the best UV-filter agents we have today, especially in the US where new-generation Tinosorb filters are not (yet) approved. I had mine on for over eight hours on that one unexpected really warm 75 degree day we had this week in NYC and even by the time I got home in the evening, my foundation still looked good.

I’ve seen so many people rave about stick foundations in general so I was super excited to try out this specific one. So, AP is one of the attempts by the cosmetics industry to solve the stability issues with vitamin C while preserving its benefits, but it seems to fall short on several things. In vitro (made in the lab not on real people) and animal studies have shown that it may produce hormonal (estrogen-like) effects. It has a good safety profile and is allowed to be used at a max concentration of 5% both in the US and in Europe (10% is allowed in Japan). To make it more stable it can be - and should be - combined with other sunscreen agents to give stable and broad-spectrum protection (the new generation sunscreen agent, Tinosorb S is a particularly good one for that).

It’ll vary depending on how bright you want your highlight—for something more subtle, just go a shade or two up. The main concern with nanoparticles is that they are so tiny that they are absorbed into the skin more than we want them (ideally sunscreen should remain on the surface of the skin).I have yet to find another foundation in their brand to match my more medium brown golden winter tone(Truly Topaz was too light).
